A 15-year-old was barred from writing for his class pre-board exam in school after he reached the exam hall late by 15 minutes.
The boy supposedly left his home well on time for the exam but, the dilapidated condition of the roads in Bangalore’s Whitefield caused him the delay and he reached the school late.
The furious father of the boy, Srinivas Reddy captured a video of the road and posted it on Whitefield Rising’s Twitter handle.
Reddy said the road is in ‘deplorable state’ which caused his son the delay in sitting for the exam.
In some patches, both sides of the road is poor made worse by construction debris
Slow going on a Saturday afternoon. Vehicles & construction work machines parked haphazardly make it all the worse.
Where is the concern for free movement on a road? What happens in an emergency? pic.twitter.com/BKB6qtlmvC

After that roller coaster ride, we come to a pipe. In the middle of the road!
Apparently road is closed for work.
How about putting signage at the entry to say that? Why make people take the road, & create chaos?
Nah, expecting too much. pic.twitter.com/FYw86Hhf8C

Borewell Road has been in shambles for more than a year.
Many many folks have fallen down, broken bones. People have missed exams.
