Twitter has been demanding a ban on The Kapil Sharma Show after Navjot Singh Sidhu’s comment on the Pulwama attacks in which 40 brave soldiers lost their lives.
The Punjab Cabinet Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu condemned the attack saying, “Its is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished, For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual?”
The statement by Mr Sidhu hasn’t gone well with internet folks, viewers have demanded a ban on the Kapil’s show until Sony removes Sidhu.
Many bollywood stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra expressed grief over the attacks.
The entire nation is angered by the Pulwama attacks, earlier this evening the Prime Minister, Home Minister and Defence Minister paid tributes at Delhi airport where 40 soldiers bodies arrived.
(The Pigeon Express Opinion – I understand from where Sidhu is coming from, Yes, entire Pakistan is not responsible, but it’s just a few anti-elements. For such rogues we can’t brand the entire nation terrorists.
India in strong terms has said enough is enough. With Pakistan’s history unless India doesn’t pinch where it hurts them, they won’t realise or take us seriously. India has taken the first step by declining MFN status, many more are required through diplomatic channels and also military action.)
