A passenger at the New Jersey Airport was caught by the security officials for carrying a gun in his luggage bag on Thursday.
However, later it turned out to be an unusual gun-shaped toilet paper roll holder.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel at the Newark Liberty Airport noticed a gun in the passenger’s bag while it was being passed through the X-ray machine.
Soon after spotting the gun, the officials immediately searched for the weapon in the bag. However, amusingly, the authorities found out that it was not a weapon but an unusual household accessory – a toilet paper holder.
After the harmless toilet paper holder was found by the officials, the passenger had to surrender it to the security officials to be able to continue his journey.
Replica guns are allowed only in check-in bags and not hand luggage.
