Trump Visits California Wildfires

The death toll in the California wildfire had risen to 76, and over 1300 still reported missing. The wildfires in California spread over 2,50,000 acres. Of which Campfire accounted for 1,50,000 acres and Woolsey fires about 1,00,00 acres.

The Camp fire blaze is the deadliest mass fire event in California. It has destroyed over 10,000 homes.

Firefighters are working tirelessly to bring down the blaze. Until Saturday the Woolsey fires were 82% contained and the Campfire was 55% contained.

The US President Donald Trump visited devastated homes and toured these regions to asses the damage.

Dense smoke from the fires has been smothering parts of the state. This prompted several universities to cancel or postpone sporting events.
