Top Twitter Executives Fail To Appear Before Parliamentary Panel, Hearing Postponed To 25th Feb

The Chief Executive Officer of Twitter and other top officials of the company were summoned by the parliamentary panel on information technology to appear before on the 25th of February 2019.

The 31 member panel committee passed a resolution that they’ll not meet any other official until their top, global bosses appear before them. The panel is headed by BJP lawmaker Anurag Thakur.

Representatives from Twitter India reached the parliament complex to attend the meet scheduled today but were not called in due to absence of CEO and other global leads.

On 1st February the panel summoned Twitter including their CEO Jack Dorsey for a meeting on the 7th of February, that was postponed to today, the 11th of February after twitter cited short notice of hearing.

(The Pigeon Express Opinion –  The BJP, Modi government is chasing Twitter because multiple pro-BJP, right wing accounts were suspended for violating twitter’s policies. The BJP supported a march in New Delhi that was organised to safeguard citizens rights.

After controlling various media outlets as their mouthpiece, the saffron brigade wants to take over the web to spread false and fake narratives.)
