Holly Persic was driving to a library in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania felt her car acting strange, making weird noises and left a burning odor.
When she opened the hood of her vehicle she found the engine full of walnuts neatly packed in grass, presumably stored there by squirrels over the weekend, when the vehicle had been parked in the open.
Holly’s husband Chris Persic shared the incident in a Facebook post.
After spending hours cleaning out, more than 200 walnuts and grass was recovered from under the hood.
“There’s definitely an angry squirrel wife right now wondering where all the nuts went”, Chris joked.
