A male cow was so huge that he was rejected by the slaughterhouse. You read it right, as a result he managed to save himself from a premature death.
The cow is nicknamed Knickers, he gets to the rest of his life in his owner’s fields in Lake Preston, southwest of Perth, Western Australia.
The Holstein Friesian breed towers among the rest of his kind at 6ft 4in. Knickers is the tallest cow in Australia and weighs about 1.4 tonnes. He now leads the rest of the animals in the farm.
His owner Geoff Pearson said to reporters –
You’ll put him in a paddock and all the other cattle seem to get attracted to him. Whenever he wants to get up and start walking there’s a trail of hundreds of cattle following him.We all know when Knickers is on the move
The unusual tale of the cow has made him an internet sensation.
