Robert Vadra, the brother-in-law of Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, voted in Delhi in the sixth phase of the 2019 Lok Sabha election. Just like everyone else, Robert Vadra, too, tweeted a picture of his inked finger and urged voters to step out and vote.
However, Robert Vadra ended up posting the emoji of the Paraguay flag instead of the Indian flag.
Vadra’s tweet read – “Our right our strength !! Everyone must step out n vote … we need all support, to create a combined future for our loved ones, n for a secular, safe, productive future for our country.”
Maybe releasing his mistake, Vadra deleted the tweet and posed another with the Indian Flag.
He later posted another tweet to clear his stand.
India lives in my heart & I salute Tiranga.Using a Paraguay flag in my post was just an aberration.I very well know tht”You all know it was posted by mistake" but u decided to”play up my mistake”,whn thr r such glaring issues to be discussed. It saddens me, but never mind! 😊👍 pic.twitter.com/ZPDva2eWSW
