Rains push India vs New Zealand semi-finals clash to Reserve day

The semi-final clash between India and New Zealand would continue on the reserve day, 10th of July at 10:30 am local time (3pm IST) with New Zealand starting from where they left off at 211/5 in 46.1 overs.

According to ICC rules, every effort must be made to ensure there is a result on the scheduled day but if there is no time for the minimum number of overs to be bowled, the match would resume on the reserve day.

Indian bowlers dominated proceedings to crumble New Zealand to 211/5 in 46.1 overs before rain arrived at Old Trafford Stadium.  Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar set the tone, however Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor scored half-centuries inching New Zealand’s run-rate around 4 per over.
