Congress president Rahul Gandhi tweeted on Wednesday to announce the new word Modilie (Modi-lie) has been added to the English dictionary which means “to constantly modify the truth”.
We can confirm that the image showing the entry ‘Modilie’ is fake and does not exist in any of our Oxford Dictionaries.

Rahul Gandhi’s tweet about the addition of the word “Modilie” stirred a controversy after Oxford Dictionary rubbished Rahul Gandhi’s claim. However, later on Thursday Mr. Gandhi tweeted a link to the website called “www.modilies.in” which Rahul Gandhi claimed was a catalogue of the lies of PM Narendra Modi.
‘Modilie’ is a new word that’s become popular worldwide. Now there’s even a website that catalogues the best Modilies! https://t.co/Ct04DlRsj3

The website seems to have been dedicated to fact check Mr. Modi’s claims and nail his lies since he became prime minister. The oldest post of the website was dated back to June 2014.
