Puppy rescued after its mother’s death during raid to kill Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi

A puppy was left alone after his mother died during the US military raid that killed Islamic State (IS) leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi on October 27.

The picture was share by on Twitter by Fared Alhor, Syrian media activist and photographer. In a thread on Twitter, Fared also shared other details, adding that he rescued the puppy from the spot.

“The mission is over after about 4 hours in the motorcycle. I went to the site and took the little dog to a safe place with young dogs and their mother. He is very happy with his new family,” Fared wrote.

The puppy has been named Bobe.

His kind gesture made many praise him on social media.
