Prince Harry, sixth in line to the succession of the British monarch has many royal titles. And when he married Meghan Markle in 2018, he became the Duke of Sussex, and he also uses the title Earl of Dumbarton when he visits Scotland.
However, recently another title to the list was “Prince Gary”.
The name change is not written into official royal documentation. In fact, the reason for the title is much more simple than that, for the Russian people “H” sounds like the letter “G”, meaning the prince’s name will be pronounced as Gary instead of Harry for Russian fans.
Well obviously, the name isn’t exclusive to the Prince, infact the fictional character Harry Potter would be called Garry Potter. A Russian band called “London” went on to even release a song called “Gary Potter” way back in 2009.
