Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, along with Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal paid tributes to the 40 soldiers at the Palam airport in New Delhi this evening.
Coffins with bodies of our soldiers were flown in a C-130J aircraft to Delhi and will be sent to their respective cities tomorrow.
Yesterday, in a cowardly attack terrorist organisation JeM ran a speeding SUV straight into the convoy of the 70 busses, containing 2,500 CRPF personnel who were on their way to Kashmir from Jammu. The deadly explosion which occurred when the SUV rammed into the bus, destroyed the bus beyond recognition. Glass windows of homes in the area broke when the explosion occurred.
Prime Minister Modi in an address today was aware about the anger within each Indian, he warned that those responsible for the attack had made a “big mistake” and would pay a “very heavy price”. The PM has given a free hand to the security forces to act against terror.
