Multiple people injured after ‘dispute’ leads to gun fight at Florida mall

At least three people were injured after a ‘dispute’ which led to gun fire at an upscale mall in Florida on Saturday.

The Aventura Police Department said shots rang out around 3.39pm after they believe a fight between two groups of people broke out inside the mall sending crowds scattering.

The fight escalated after a person in one of the groups pulled out a gun, leading another person in the other group to pull one out and fire it, police said.

The Aventura Police Department have detained several suspects involved in the incident.

Local police said three people were hurt and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Videos posted online show shoppers scurrying to safety outside of the mall, as well as one of the apparent victims bleeding across the floor while rocking back and forth in apparent pain.
