Melbourne man violates lockdown, travels 32km to eat his favourite butter chicken

An Australian man travelled 32 kilometres to feast on the perfect butter chicken violating lockdown restrictions.

He was caught during his trip and also fined $1,652.

He travelled all the way from Werribee, which is 30km south west of Melbourne’s CBD for the specific kind of butter chicken he likes.

Police have fined dozens of people for violating lockdown restrictions.

Australia has recorded about 11,802 cases including 122 deaths. The community transmission in Victoria has been growing, prompting authorities to restrict social distancing.
