Meghan Markle makes first public appearance in Canada following “resignation” from Royal Family

Meghan Markle made her very first appearance recently, ever since she and her husband Prince Harry announced their decision to step down as the senior members of the Royal family.

The Duchess of Sussex was snapped at the Victoria Harbour Airport in Canada without her son Archie, according to Daily Mail. She was all decked up in warm clothes to protect her from the chilly weather.

Meghan made the appearance before leaving for a surprise visit to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Center in Vancouver. Pictures of her arriving at the harbor are also doing rounds on the internet.

The Duchess visited the center to offer her support to the people there and also to boost the staff’s spirits.

A picture from the visit was shared on the Facebook page of Downtown Eastside Women’s Center with the caption, “Look who we had tea with today! The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, visited us today to discuss issues affecting women in the community.”

Meghan had flew back to Canada to be with her son Archie after releasing the big news, while Prince Harry stayed back to sort out the details with the Queen.

Prince Harry is also supposed to make his first appearance today to host the Rugby League World Cup 2021 draws at Buckingham Palace, for which he stayed back in the UK.
