Mandir Se Votes

The temple town of Ayodhya will witness the largest gathering of Ram Bhakts today. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is hosting a mega rally with the agenda of Ram Mandir.

This is the largest Hindu gathering in Ayodhya after Pro-Hindu outfits razed the Babri Masjid in 1992.

The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) closest ally, Shiv Sena (SS) chief Uddhav Thackeray is visiting the temple town, only to fuel the momentum on the temple issue, he said –

This government is very powerful and if they (the BJP) don’t build a temple they will not be in government.

Sections of the Hindu community were disappointed as the Supreme Court of India, pushed hearings of the Ram Temple to January 2019. This is one of the long-standing dispute running in the courts of India, since 1859.

The BJP in every election manifesto had always mentioned the Ram temple issue. Currently the party enjoys power in both state and national level, so what’s stopping them from issuing a law?

The BJP can simply pass a bill in the Indian parliament, as they have a thumping majority. If the Government fears of a blockade is surely has the option of an ordinance.

This issue is longing since centuries, it needs to be soughted out at the earliest. Believers have lost patience and are frustrated about continuous delays.

The Ram Temple issue is a matter of faith, these parties have taken advantage, and have orchestrated a drama around to just throttle up votes for decades now.

The Government of the day will not resolve this dispute but wait for the courts to do. If the ruling attempt to solve the dispute they won’t have any agenda next election.

The longer the time this issue takes, brighter will be the prospects for the BJP.
