Two robbers drive away a car with owner still inside the vehicle.
A couple had gone to their children’s school to deposit the fees, while the man went inside the campus, his wife decide to wait in the car.
The man, Rajeev Chand left the keys inside the car where his wife, Ritu stayed back to wait for him.
Soon after Chand went inside the school, two unmasked robbers barged into the car. One of the two sat on the driver’s seat, while the other one covered Ritu’s mouth to stop her from raising an alarm.
The robbers kept driving for at least five kilometers towards the national highway before dumping Ritu near a toll plaza after taking a U-turn.
The crime took place in the Indian state of Punjab.
While the car is yet to be traced, the police have registered a complaint against unidentified accused.
“We are checking the CCTV footage of the toll plaza and are hopeful of arresting the robbers soon,” Satinder Singh, who is the station house officer of Dera Bassi told local press.
