A man and his dog were rescued unknowingly after being trapped in snow for five days.
The man Jeremy Taylor and his dog Ally were buried under heavy snowfall in a four-by-four Toyota 4Runner in the coastal state of Oregon, United States.
The two of them had gone to buy petrol, slept overnight in the vehicle because their car got stuck in snow. Jeremy anticipated for the snow to be cleared by morning, but unfortunately they woke up to find more snow.
Jeremy kept himself and his dog warm by periodically starting his engine and used taco sauce packets as food.
He attempted to walk out of the car but returned to the car as the snow was too deep. He could not contact anyone as he did not carry a mobile phone. The police also received a missing complaint for Mr. Taylor.

The police said Jeremy and Ally were found by a snowmobile rider and were in “good condition, but hungry”.
In a post on his Facebook page Taylor said, “Thank you everyone, I’m safe my Ally dog is safe. I really appreciate all the help. Got lucky, let’s never do that again. I’ll be in touch with everyone soon.”
