The city of lakes Udaipur, will see the pre-wedding bash of billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani with Anand Piramal. The Sangeet and Mehendi ceremony will take place in Udaipur while the wedding will take place on the 12th of December, at Ambani’s Antilia residence in Mumbai.
Former US First Lady Hillary Clinton, Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis were among the politicians who were welcomed by the Ambani’s.
Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni with his wife and daughter Ziva, Sachin Tendulkar and wife Anjali and Zaheer Khan and wife Sagarika arrived too. Bollywood celebrities Aishwarya Rai with husband Abhishek Bachchan, Salman Khan, Boney Kapoor with daughters Jhanvi and Khushi Kapoor were among the many guests who reached the Oberoi Udaivilas and City Palace for the pre-wedding traditions.
The sangeet ceremony, is expected to be a gala affair, it would have performances from Priyanka Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, and AR Rahman. Pop singer Beyonce could also be expected at the event.
Before the festivities began the Ambani’s arranged a ‘Anna Seva’ for the poor, disabled and marginalised sections of society, they fed 51,000 people in the city of Udaipur.
The airport in Udaipur has set up customs and immigration counters for the Ambani guests, Mukesh has hired 100 chartered flights to ferry guests into the venue.
