Kejriwal Fumes After Delhi Congress Announce No Alliance With AAP

The Delhi Congress chief Sheila Dikshit today made clear that the Congress won’t go into an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi.

Ms. Dixit said that the decision taken was “unanimously” turned down to ally with Arvind Kejriwal’s party. “It is final that there will be no alliance with AAP. Mr Gandhi has accepted the decision. The Congress will go it alone in all seven seats in Delhi and win,” Ms Dikshit told the media.

The announcement came after Sheila Dikshit and Ajay Maken held a two hour long meeting with Congress President Rahul Gandhi.




The United Opposition front also called as “Mahagathbandhan” wanted the AAP and the Congress to put aside their differences and stitch up an alliance in New Delhi.

After Mr.Kejriwal failed to receive a positive response from the Congress last week, so AAP announced its list of candidates form Delhi in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted his unhappiness after the Congress made things clear. Mr. Kejriwal says that the Congress was splitting the anti-BJP votes, and alleged that the Congress – BJP are in some form of a secret alliance.
