Chinese business magnat, Jack Ma, who avoided public eye has resurfaced after months.
The former Alibaba boss was spotted playing a game of golf at the expansive greens of the Sun Valley Golf Resort in Hainan.
The expensive five-star resort is located on the picturesque Hainan Island, south of the Qiongzhou Strait separating it from the Chinese mainland. It has a 27-hole course with a striking view.
Ma has avoided social appearance after criticising the Chinese government, financial regulators and state owned banks in a fiery speech in October 2020.
This led to authorities blocking the impending stock market debut of Ant Group, an online finance platform that grew out of Alipay.
Ma was also cancelled as a judge in a television. His
disappearing prompted several stories on what might have happened to Ma.
