Imran Khan refuses to accept Pakistan’s involvement in Pulwama terror attack

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan who is currently visiting the United States, said the Pulwama terror attack that left 40 CRPF personnel dead in Kashmir, was an “indigenous thing”.

Mr. Khan made these irresponsible remarks even though Jaish-e-Mohammed, the terrorist group origins out of Pakistan claimed responsibility for the terror attack.

The prime minister further went on to justify saying Jaish is based in Pakistan, but it also has presence in Kashmir and thus the attack is an “indigenous thing” that happened in India.

Forty CRPF personnel were killed on 14th February when a CRPF convoy was attacked by a Jaish terrorist who rammed an IED laden vehicle into one of the army trucks. Jaish-e-Mohammed later released a video of the terrorist who attacked the convoy and claimed responsibility for the attack.

The terror attack almost took the two nations into a brink of a war, after India conducted airstrikes inside Pakistan’s Balakot area to destroy terror hubs of Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Imran Khan’s meeting with US president Donald Trump triggered a huge  controversy after Trump claimed that the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked him to mediate to resolve the Kashmir dispute.
