A huge explosion brought down homes in Baltimore neighborhood on Monday, killing at least one person, injuring four and trapping children.
The blast destroyed at least three homes, firefighters said.
Prima facia the blast occurred due to a gas explosion, the exact reason for the cause was under investigation.
Images showed rescuers picking through the rubble to search for victims.
One woman was killed, four people were hospitalized in serious condition.
Neighbors speaking with media said they heard shouts from trapped children.
“Come get us! We’re stuck!” came the cries, Kevin Matthews told the Sun.
In the neighbouring homes, windows were blown out and doors blasted off the hinges.
