Lewis Hamilton took home a record sixth British Grand Prix title in a thrilling race featuring a crash between Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel.
The title clash was dramatic and by far the best of 2019.
Hamilton took lead from Valtteri Bottas after benefitting from the safety-car period.
Behind Bottas, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Red Bull’s Verstappen were disputing for a third place.
A crash between Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel was the talk of the day, the collision resulted in a 10-second time penalty and two penalty points on his super licence for the German four-time champion.
Hamilton’s victory extends his championship lead to 39 points at the effective halfway point of the championship.
