FIR filed against Unnao rape accused BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar and 9 others for accident

The Unnao rape survivor, who met with a road accident on Sunday, is on ventilator in a critical condition. Officials of the King George’s Medical University in Lucknow, where she is admitted, said that she a head injury and a fractured leg.

In the car crash, two of the girl’s aunt died, while she and her lawyer are currently in a critical condition.

The victim’s family has called the accident a conspiracy by BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar, who is accused of raping the Unnao woman. The girl’s sister and her mother claimed that the BJP MLA wanted to silence the survivor, and therefore he is behind the accident.

Meanwhile, the UP Police has initiated a forensic probe in the accident and the truck driver has been caught.

The police are treating the car collision as an accident that happened due to rains. The driver, cleaner and owner of the truck were detained.

Strangely, the trucks number plate was blackened, but the police claim to have retried the same.

Moreover, the woman was put under a security detail by the police. However, her security cover was not present with her when the accident occurred on Sunday.

Sengar is believed to behind the accident is currently in jail in connection with the rape case, but his family members fled Unnao.

The police on Monday an FIR had been filed against BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, the prime accused in the rape case. FIRs were also lodged against his brother Manoj and eight others after the girl’s uncle lodged a complaint. The family of the girl has demanded a CBI probe into the incident.

Opposition parties called the accident a conspiracy and a bid to silence the survivor.

The teenage woman alleged that Sengar, a four-time MLA who represents Bangermau in the UP assembly, raped her teenage daughter at his home in 2017. The case had come to light after the victim allegedly attempted self-immolation outside Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s residence.

When the kin of the victim complained, her father was booked by the police under the Arms Act on April 3, 2018, and put in jail after two days. Her father died in the prison where he was kept on alleged false charges. He was allegedly beaten up by the brother of the MLA and his aides while in prison.
