Finland was declared as the most happiest country in the world for the second year, as per the UN World Happiness Report released on Wednesday. Following Finland are Denmark, Norway, Iceland and The Netherlands.
The report was released on the World Happiness Day, the 20th of March. The report takes six key variables income, freedom, trust, healthy life expectancy, social support and generosity. 156 countries were surveyed.
The report also noted that there was an increase negative emotions such as worry, sadness and anger around the world. India has seen a worst drop, it fell from 133rd place to 140th place.
UAE is ranked 21st, Pakistan 67th, Bangladesh 125th and China is place at 93rd, according to the report.
The most unhappiest people were in Central African Republic (155), Afghanistan (154), Tanzania (153) and Rwanda (152).
