Exit Polls Predicts BJP’s Downfall

The Exit polls predict a clear win for the Congress in three of the five states that voted.  Based on the exit polls data, BJP bastions Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh voted for a change. The Congress party seems to be marching towards a majority.

This elections are crucial as they set the mood for the 2019 General Elections. It might motivate some gone and dusted parties, but also bring in major understanding on the ground reality for the people in power.

Here is the Pigeon’s estimates for the polls:-

Madhya Pradesh

 230 Seats / 116 Majority

BJP – 108 Congress – 120  Others -2

Chhattisgarh

90 Seats / 46 Majority

BJP – 40 Congress – 45 Others –  5

Rajasthan

200 Seats / 101 Majority

BJP – 75 Congress – 120 Others – 5

Telangana

119 Seats / 60 Majority

TRS – 65 Congress (plus) – 40 Others – 14

Mizoram

40 Seats / 21 Majority

Congress – 17 MNF – 18 Others – 5

The Bharatiya Janata Party has hit its saturation and an antiincumbusy wave has triggered a fall of the lotus. The shining son of the Congress Party  Rahul Gandhi needs to give major credit to Sachin Pilot who vigorously campaigned in MP and Rajasthan.

The Prime Minister Modi’s charm and wave has silenced itself, as per the exit polls. The counting of votes will take place on the 11th of December.

This data is just an estimate, the ground reality might be different all together. Most of the exit polls couldn’t predict the Aam Aadmi Party’s victory in 2015, so let’s just keep them for some reference.
