An encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipore district resulted in death of an eleven year old boy who was taken hostage by the terrorists.
The encounter started yesterday evening, after security forces received a tip off about the presence of two terrorists inside a residential house.
The building had two other civilians apart from the boy, Aatif.
The elderly men managed to escape in darkness, under security cover.
The security forces blasted the building during overnight operations. The building was already damaged due to intense gunfire.
The police said, “One Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist is among the two killed”.
