Donald Trump calls Meghan Markle “nasty” ahead of UK state visit

US President Donald Trump, while giving a recent interview to a British daily newspaper called Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex “nasty”.

When the interviewer asked Donald Trump about how he felt when the Suits alumni, Meghan Markle called him misogynistic and divisive in 2016 while she was on a show.

In the same episode, Meghan Markle also said that she would rather stay in Canada where she was filming Suits at that time, than go to the United States if Trump becomes the President.

Donald Trump seemed shocked by her remarks, he responded, “I didn’t know that…No, I hope she is ok. I didn’t know that, no.” He added, “So what can I say? No, I didn’t know that she was nasty.”

In addition to that, Trump also commented on Meghan Markle becoming a member of the royal family, “I am sure she will do excellently. She will be very good.”

Donald Trump is all set to arrive in the UK for his state visit soon. During this visit, he is expected to meet with Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William, Prince Harry and other members of the royal family.
