Crocodiles wade through Vadodara’s flooded roads

The rains in Vadodara and many other cities in Gujarat brought respite to many from the scorching heat. However, excessive rains triggered flooding, water-logging making. To add to the havoc a large number of crocodiles entered the city of Vadodara.

In viral videos shared online crocodiles can be seen roaming the streets which resemble streams.

The video shows a water-logged street and two stray dogs trying to escape a crocodile that was casually wading through the water, trying to sneak up on the dogs.

However, this isn’t the only video posted online. Another video from Akota, shows a crocodile casually strolling on the streets.

The Indian Met Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall across the state of Gujarat for Thursday. Schools and colleges remain shut. The flood waters forced the city’s railway station to shut down and cancel as many as 22 trains. Two flights were diverted to Ahmedabad due to waterlogging at the airport.
