Complete list of portfolio allotment of Modi Government 2.0

The President of India Ram Nath Kovind alloted ministries to cabinet and council of ministers upon the advice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. Mr. Modi’s closest aide Amit Shah has been made Home Minister, while Rajnath Singh was moved to Defence Minister and Nirmala Sitharaman alloted Finance Ministry.

Former Foreign Secretary, S Jaishankar was handed over Foreign Minister, and Nitin Gadkari retained the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. Smriti Irani was rewarded with dual ministries following her win over Rahul Gandhi in Amethi, as she retained Textiles she was also given additional charge for Minister for Women and Child Development.
