Christchurch gunman’s video asks users to subscribe to PewDiePie

Famous Swedish YouTuber PewDiePie has found himself in yet another controversy today during the New Zealand Christchurch attacks. The attacker who livestreamed the violent act took the YouTuber’s name and asked people to subscribe to his channel.

The attacker who posted the video on Facebook, was seen loading his weapon multiple times and firing indiscriminately at people in the mosques. What’s now being called as a terrorists attack, has 49 fatalities and over 20 injured.

He starts the video by saying, “Remember lads, subscribe to Pewdiepie.”
