The Karnataka BJP Chief BS Yeddyurappa has said that the Indian Air Force strikes on terror camps in Pakistan on Tuesday created a wave in favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and this will help the party win 22 of 28 seats in the state in the national election scheduled in May.
Mr Yeddyurappa in Chitradurga told reporters on Wednesday, “The atmosphere day by day, the wind is increasingly blowing in favour of the BJP. Yesterday’s action of destroying terror hideouts by entering inside Pakistan has resulted in a pro-Modi wave in the country, the results of which can be seen in coming Lok Sabha polls. It has enthused youths, all this will help us in winning more than 22 Lok Sabha seats in the state.”
(TPE Opinion– The state BJP chief made it very clear that the BJP are using the armed forces for their very own political benefit. It’s shameful for them to bring our forces into the political arena first, and second it’s sad that the BJP are relying on our armed forces success rather than their work they did as government in the past 5 years.)
