Ten people died and three others were injured after a fire broke out a training facility at the Brazilian football club Flamengo.
The flames engulfed the dormitory at the youth team centre where players were sleeping.
The Flamengo are one among the most popular clubs, play their home matches at Rio de Janeiro.
Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior was part of the team last year said, “Just remembering the nights and days I spent at the training center, it gives me goosebumps.I still can’t believe it but praying for all. God bless everyone’s family.”
The team contains players in the age group between 14 to 17.
The blaze was brought under control after two hours, it supposedly started at 5 am. Among the dead were 4 staff members and 6 players.
The training camp was in the same area when six people were killed on Wednesday in a storm.
