Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have tied the knot in what is being dubbed one of the biggest weddings of the Indian film industry.
Many stars were among close family and friends at the low-key event. The wedding took place at the Kapoor’s family home, a bungalow tucked away in the affluent Bandra neighbourhood of Mumbai.
The actors are among the most popular faces of Bollywood, with millions of fans the world over.
“Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home… in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last five years of our relationship – we got married,” Bhatt posted on social media.
Kapoor and Bhatt’s first film together, Brahmastra, will release in theatres later this year.
For days in the run-up to the wedding, social media was abuzz with speculation about what the stars would wear to who would be in attendance.
