Bihar’s Crown Prince Politician Tejashwi Yadav Resurfaces After A Month

Bihar politician Tejashwi Yadav, who was not seen for close to a month when Bihar witnessed over 180 deaths due to the outbreak of Acute Encephalitis Syndrome, made presence on social media platform, Twitter to explain his absence.

The 29 year old Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader said he has been busy undergoing treatment for the last few weeks after a knee injury.

Tejashwi Yadav is the political heir of Lalu Yadav, he was extensively criticised by rival parties for his absence in the House when the monsoon session of the Bihar Assembly began on Friday.

He has taken over the reins of his party following the imprisonment of his father. He recently spearheaded RJD’s campaign in the Lok Sabha polls. However, his party recorded worst performance since 1997.

After the debacle, Tejashwi Yadav only made a brief appearance in Bihar when the party held a meeting to review the causes that led to its crushing defeat.
