Passengers onboard a Spirit Airlines flight, travelling from Charlotte, North Carolina to Newark, New Jersey had a major scare when a bat infiltrated their flight.
A video of the incident has gone viral online and in it one can see the animal flying over the heads of the passengers. The bat began flying through the cabin almost thirty minutes into the flight and had everyone screaming at the top of their lungs.

In the video, flyers can be seen shouting and running away from the bat to save themselves. In fact, some passengers even tried to lock themselves inside the washrooms to safeguard themselves from the bat.
Though the situation turned out to be quite scary for the passengers.
According to reports, the bat was eventually caught and held until the end of the flight.
