Apple AirPods 2 get Siri and wireless charging feature

Apple announced their second generation wireless headphones, the AirPods on Wednesday. The company added the feature of wireless charging to the popular headphones.

The wireless charging unit will also be sold separately so that existing AirPod owners enjoy the feature.

The popular earphones are powered by a New H1 Chip, it gives 50 percent more talk time and introduces the “Hey Siri” feature. Apple claims that the H1 chip create a revolutionary audio experience and improved synchronization.




Switching between devices while listening to music on iPhone, Apple Watch or iPad is two times faster compared to its predecessor. The new AirPods come with either the standard charging case or the new Wireless Charging Case.

The Airpods are available for online ordering on the Apple website, while one can pick one from the stores next week onwards.

Soon after the launch of the AirPods, Apple fans expressed disappointed over Apple not introducing the AirPower charger. Things became more clear when the wireless charging feature introduced was exclusively for the AirPods.

The product— AirPower was first announced in 2017, it hoped to solve the issues of cables, and wired charging. Basically you could just drop your Apple Watch, your iPhone, and your AirPods on a charging pad and pick them up, fully charged. The Wall Street Journal reported that Apple approved the long-delayed charger, but didn’t know if Apple would introduce it this week, or during the iPhone launch in September.
