‘Americans will have to learn to speak Chinese if I don’t win’: Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump in his latest attack on presidential rival Joe Biden has suggested that he is too soft on China.

“China will own the United States if this election is lost by Donald Trump,” Donald Trump said in conversation with radio host Hugh Hewitt.

“If I don’t win the election, China will own the United States. You’re going to have to learn to speak Chinese, you want to know the truth”, the president claimed.

China has become a focal point for the November 2020 presidential elections.

Trump has repeatedly blamed China for the worldwide coronavirus epidemic.

Just last week Trump administration imposed sanctions on 11 Hong Kong and Chinese officials over what it said was their role in curtailing political freedoms in Hong Kong.

In July, Trump ordered China to shut down its Houston embassy.

The two nations have also been battling out a military presence in the South China Sea and well as a trade war.

In one of his recent interviews Donald Trump has admitted that his personal equation with Chinese President Xi Jinping has now soured.
