Amazon boss Jeff Bezos has announced his split with his wife MacKenzie after 25 years of marriage.
Jeff informed the world on social media about their decision. The couple are parents to 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl they adopted from China.
The Amazon boss, Mr. Bezos is the world’s wealthiest man currently, his networth stands at US$ 137 billion. The divorce is going to be a costly affair.
The two were a constant support to the one and other during the initial days of Amazon. MacKenzie is an acclaimed novalist.
Amazon’s shares fell after the couple announced their split publicly.
The statement was released on Twitter, just days before Jeff Bezos turns 55 years.
The international media is already talking about the wealth split among the couple. According to Bloomberg even if the wealth is equally distributed among the couple, MacKenzie would become the world’s wealthiest woman.
